Nikolaos Lyssaridis - ViceGovernor of Entrepreneurship and Transportation

He was born in Voio Kozani in 1979, His parents are Christos and Efrosyne Lyssaridis.

He is a Graduate Engineer of Mineral Resources from the Technical University of Crete.

He was President of the Department’s Students’ Association, and Student Representative in the Institution’s Senate.

He worked as a supervisor Engineer Mine exploitation projects, being responsible for the drilling and blasting of each project.

In 2007 he founded in Ptolemaida the technical company “LYSSARIDIS MON. A.T.E.” active in the field of technical projects.

The company LYSSARIDIS MON A.T.E. has an active role in the completion of major projects throughout Greece such as those of the Ionian Road and the TAP Pipeline.

He was the president of the women’s basketball team of Apollo Ptolemais in the period 2010-2013 during the period of the great European march.

He is a member of the Board of Directors. of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kozani, and former Head of G.E.M.I.

He was Regional Development Vice-Governor in the region of Western Macedonia for the period 2019 – 2021

He is married to philologist Hionidou Sofia, and they have two children, Christos and Ioannis.
